Issues
Short label for map
The main discussion issue was how to encode the label for the station displayed in the map. Sometimes it is useful to present the data provider, the operator or the regional association. For this reason we will add other two terms ( that can be used in the identifier element in SensorML. The needed labels are: operatorShortName, dataProviderShortName and regionalAssociationShortName. The XPATH in the SensorML document is /SensorML/member[1]/System[1]/identification[1]/IdentifierList[1]/identifier[2]/Term[1].
OGC interoperability Experiment
From the stand point of OOSTethys we don't need to do too much now. One of the goals is to compare WFS and SOS. Other organizations are being invited such as ESRI and NGA/ONR
