- Review of agenda - no comments
- Review last meeting minutes - no comments.
- Report by participant:
- Carlos Rueda - Builded JAVA MAVEN project and documented process. Not able to set up the Eclipse environment with SVN and MAVEN. Ran test which uses MAVEN and Jetty. It completed fine. Ocean paper got accepted.
- David Coyle - Nate B. appointed key tech organizing person to represent OGC in terms in OGC web services. David has plan in September to publish an SOS (7,000 platforms).
- Manil Maskey - Worked on the build and helped document. Still missing the source for team engine.
- Tony Cook - Started working SOS for METAR data - hourly observation for meteorological observations (10,000 stations). Very good potential for exercising these complex systems. He will start serving few stations.
- Jeff DLB - back from vacation
- Luis Bermudez - Documented building the JAVA server code and tested the MAVEN build. Ocean paper got accepted and started working on it.
- Discussion:
- Action items were discussed and cleaned
- Building JAVA source code
- Started documentation here. Remaining issues:
- Need source files for Team Engine
- Need to clean other directories. The only dir that we are using is oostethys-java-server - - need start thread discussion
- Demos discussion - need to create a script to use PUCK, MMI and OOSTethys components for demo purposes
Actions
- Carlos - Document in the OOSTethys web site how to use the
MMI registry services. - after changing the code.
- Carlos - Work with Stephanie to put the vocabularies used at OOSTethys (OGC urns...) at the MMI Registry.
- Check the status of the spreadsheet containing new OGC terms and recommend next steps
- Eric - make chart last 12 hours using Google Chart ( September)
- Eric - incorporate Q2O in PERL cookbook ( September)
- Jeff - will talk to John about strategy about to move forward the IOOS phenomena dictionary, after cleaning IOOS dictionary.
- Luis - finish template for Systems of Systems (MBARI) - and heterogeneous sensors.
- Luis - Propose license code and discuss. We at SURA are deciding between Apache License Version 2.0 and Eclipse Public License v 1.0. ( we will have a resolution by end of August)
- Luis - Recommend vocabularies for data arrays used and SWE Common.
- Luis - Updating the JAVA toolkit to have a temporary storage of data for improving performance (later)
- Luis - check CSV created from IOOS XSLT to see if it aligns with SweCommon OOSTethys (later)
- Luis - Start logistics about September plug fest.
- Luis - check if wiki page exists about EPSG issue
- Luis - propose change in SVN JAVA server.
- Luis - start script for Demo.
- Tom - Find out hosting a luncheon, due dates and cost either at AGU or Oceans Portland.
- Tony - check if wiki contains info about CF and using UCUM units
- Tony - make a sample of METAR in SOS
Closed:
- John -Send email to Simon, .. Talk at the OGC Meeting how to handle proposed OGC URNS ( e.g. X-).
- John - Send email to Simon ..Talk at the OGC Meeting how do we know what are the OCG URNs that have been approved ?
- John - send back an email to interested bio diversity folks about
- Carlos - Try to build the source and submit issues.
- Luis - review the request for 0..n procedure and processes and responses from server (e.g. errors etc..)
- Luis -check JAVA code at SVN - changes are not in sync. Send an email to the dev group about summarizing changes every week.
- Manil - send comments to the list about building the JAVA toolkit and issues encountered.
- Tony - present issue of best practices for using units to the SWE WG.
