      • Eric - Submitted abstract to AGU -  "OOSTethys  - Open Source Software for the Global Earth Observing Systems of Systems" to IN07. Smart Bay Buoy setup the SOS working in the windows environment - They will add some notes about how the did the installation. Working on a more robust client.
      • Manil M. Sent another email to Jesper - Luis to sent email with Scott F. (NG) email to solve sisues with Team Engine.
      • Ben Domenico - People interested in netCDF standarization process there will be a meeting in the next TC meeting Tuesday Sep 29 4-5 PM - Germany (About 7 AM East coast ). A telecon will be setup for those who want to participate. A working group will be created.
      • Dave (ASA) - working on the java client. Have some success - will be ready today NDBC COAPS and 2 others. Using XSLT to parse JAVA client.
      • Dave Coyle (USGS) - reading Data Turbine and Unidata LDM.
      • Sameer Tilak (UCSD) - Co-PI of  data turbine. Interest in advancing how OGC services could be used with data turbine. Possible storing the data and using the Python version. LDD is the software - if you install you become an IDD node. Data turbine has multiple buffering. IDD is a deployed system.
      • Tony Cook (TAMU) - had a different version of METAR - SOS available. It access an SQL data base in the backend. Observation example is here. Tested UAH SpaceTimeToolkit- need to map what you want to display the time series. Tookit has nice time widget which allows one to schedule automatic updates of data.
      • Jeff DLB - ERDAP group have an SOS implementation in beta test and offer multiple implementation formats and offer out of band an in band responses. Discussion with formats and units. NDBC SOS is offering a feature of interest tight to tsunamis events. Meeting with Sensorpedia people, they are using the ATOM format - we need to create a bridge - no time querying capability in the URL. HYRAX and meeting in U of Rhode Island - number of issues with WCS and OGC schemas validation problems. Regarding Data Turbine and Unidata LDM we could possible include in the discussion how OOI distribution systems and GTS  fits in the picture.

    • Ben - Send information about how to participate in the working group that will be formed in OGC to advance CF-netCDF as a standard.
    • Ben talk to Carl about capabilities handling for bug number of resources ( offerings in SOS ) and its relation to catalogs.
    • Carlos - Document in the OOSTethys web site how to use the MMI registry services. - after changing the code.
    • Eric - make chart  last 12 hours using Google Chart ( September)
    • Eric - incorporate Q2O in PERL cookbook ( September)
    • Eric - document OOSTethys toolkit use of URNs and advise on how better to use MMI URNs and services.
    • Eric - document use of Smart Bay - how they use PERL tookit in a windows system.
    • Jeff - will talk to John about strategy about to move forward the IOOS phenomena dictionary, after cleaning IOOS dictionary.
    • Luis - finish template for Systems of Systems (MBARI) - and heterogeneous sensors. ( September)
    • Luis - Propose license code and discuss. We at SURA are deciding between Apache License  Version 2.0 and Eclipse Public License v 1.0. ( we will have a resolution by end of August)
    • Luis  - Recommend vocabularies for data arrays used and SWE Common. ( September)
    • Luis - Updating the JAVA toolkit to have a temporary storage of data for improving performance (later)
    • Luis - check CSV created from  IOOS XSLT to see if it aligns with SweCommon OOSTethys (later)
    • Luis - create page about differences in data distribution systems.
    • Luis - check if wiki page exists about EPSG issue
    • Luis - propose change in SVN JAVA server.
    • Luis - start script for Demo.
    • Luis - send change for request about URNs issue
    • Luis - document OOSTethys toolkit use of  URNs and advise on how better to use MMI URNs and services.
    • Luis - update links to new CSW registration web site
    • Tom - Find out hosting a luncheon, due dates and cost either at AGU or Oceans Portland.
    • Tony - talk to Mike B about  CF and using UCUM units
