Discussion
- Carl introduced the OGC Interoperability experiment. Luis provided a summary for the OceansIE 1.
- Logistics
- Participation details:
- Become a member of this site and add some information about yourself in my folder. You need to do this so you can get privileges to edit sections of the site
- Add
information about your organization to this site. In the form use for
the short name the acronym of your organization and for the description
the long name of your organization.
- Select your role:
- You can actively by a participant by a having a concrete role in the project (for example implementing a client). Your organization must sign and return and OGC IE Participant agreement.
- You can be an observer and not an active participant in the OCEANS IE, by accepting the terms and conditions as detailed in the online OGC Observer Agreement.
- The Observer and Participant agreements ensure that any Intellectual Property related to OGC standards developed during the course of the IE remain vested in the OGC for the good of the Consortium and the membership. If you have any questions regarding these participant agreements, please email Carl Reed at creed AT opengeospatial.org
- ACTION: Agreements should be signed in 2 weeks. If you did for Oceans IE I you don't need to do a new one.
- Be sure you can login to the OGC project web site.
- We had a prolific discussion and editing of the topics.
- ACTION : Leaders please create a summary page of the topic you are leading with a draft plan for next week (March 27). We will need the plan for each topic finalized by April 3d. Summary of topics here.
Possible venues for demonstrations:
Others
- We discovered a great chat room: http://webconf.soaphub.org/conf/room/oostethys
- A small discussion about all the lists. Recommended for now not use the Google groups. Use oostethys list for toolkits discussion, all others use OGC OceansIE list.
