Updates

•  Carlos - Looked at the JAVA toolkit. Progress on the vocabularies. Working on a new interface to integrate tools that have been developed at MMI. Good to have summary of changes notification. About OGC URNs:

• Tom - Working with guys at Polytech University on the PUCK topic. Have integrated PUCK to their lab and plug instruments to the controlled, and extract and use their data. Payload will be IEEE 1451. Working with Neil U of Newfoundland to integrate PUCK into their buoy.
• Tony - Created a page on the Plone site regarding the use of the CF terms and units. Conclusion -  canonical units are not required and compatible units could be used.  Also tested further  the java toolkit. Run into another problem. He will post the issue.
  
• Jeff DLB - (1) Starting effort to adopt MMI/CF URLs for observed properties instead of using IOOS phenomenon dictionary. There are some names that are not in the CF conventions (specifically, vectors or other multi-component phenomena like currents or waves). Will work with MMI to resolve.  (2) Planning to automate sending of tsunami buoy data from NDBC SOS to NGDC for archiving. Data 7-10 days before and after a seismic event. Would like to talk to people with experience in Sensor Alert Service (SAS), Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP), or other push mechanisms. (3) The June 18th telecon of the IOOS WSDE WG will focus on OpenDAP, NetCDF and CF, with later telecon(s) to address possible linkage to SOS.
• John G. - Idea for multivalue concepts- interesting to help Jeff. He was in Bio diversity informatics conference. Not clear standard process for streaming data. Idea.. maybe we could use the OOSTethys platform to stream biodiversity data.
• Eric B. - Experience with Biodiversity data - will send to John ref. Continued working  advancing the toolkit incorporating QA QC from Q2O.
  
• Luis B. - Fixed JAVA issues that Tony had. Met with Carlos to talk about OGC URNs.
  
• Manil M.- ( by email) - Finished first release of registration operation (http://scoredev.itsc.uah.edu/csw/).

• Luis - review the request for 0..n procedure and processes and responses from server (e.g. errors etc..)

• Luis - check CSV created from  IOOS XSLT to see if it aligns with SweCommon OOSTethys
