Deployment of SOS services

Ocean's IE Phase II topic plan

Goal

Explore best practices and toolkits that enable wide deployment of SOS services. This will involve:

  • Testing and validation of service implemenations.
  • Toolkits  in various languages that are simple and easy to install
  • Evaluate cookbooks and guidelines re: ease of use, conformance and performance.

Road Map

  • Explore, test and/or develop simple validation and performance tools.

  • Evaluate current state of toolkits and documentation guidelines
  • Develop commonality of approach for steps in deploying SOS.
