Dan - datasheet is getting erased but not restored by writePuck.
RBR batteries appear to be dead - will replace

Note that when location changes, OOSTethys client does not reflect the new location - Eric Bridger is addressing this

How to automate new instrument detection?
Maybe PUCK protocol should include a "ping" function that periodically sends (e.g.) instrument UUID to serial host. Would this feature be disable-able (e.g. for backwards compatibility w/ manufacturer GUIs)?

Specify minimum instrument unplug time? Must be greater than sampling rate of instrument.

Will STWS accept XML format TEDS? Ask Yuyin
Could store jar file that includes TEDS XML document - goal is interoperability between different observatories - how to "tag" this file?
Note that IMSYS does not include XML parsing... ask Kevin Gomes
