OGC® Ocean Science Interoperability Experiment Phase 1 Report - 20080822 OGC 08-124: This document provides lessons learned and best practices resulted from the Ocean Science Interoperability Experiment (Oceans IE). The Oceans IE was created to investigate the use of OGC Web Feature Services (WFS) and OGC Sensor Observation Services (SOS) for representing and exchanging point data records from fixed in-situ marine platforms.
